MAJOR CHISHOLM

American Painter, 1972 - Present

Major Chisholm is best known for his continuous line paintings and abstract expressionistic style. Most of his work contains continuous lines that do not cross over themselves or separate.  He works primarily in acrylic paint and paint pens on large scale canvases.  Currently Major is working with the medium epoxy resin, paint and mixed media. He is developing layers of color that interact with his continuous line. Casting shadows and weaving colors through out the depth of the painting. 

 

It is Major’s desire for others to own and enjoy his work in their homes and businesses.  He builds all his "canvases" on wood.  He has many commissioned pieces across the United States and internationally.
